Beijing 1421 Business Consulting (1421) has been operating since  2011 undergoing many changes in all aspects of the business along the way. These changes all originated in request and demand from the market. The necessity of what 1421 represents is a major underlining issue in international business between western and Chinese companies.

1421 has evolved over the years to better represent western SME’s in starting their business in China. Slowly we have added services, changed the approach towards the market and adapted our advice. On top of that we grew in size, both regarding employees and (rep) offices. All these changes have slowly grown 1421 into something very different than in 2011.

Taking all these changes into account we decided to update our brand to keep up with the fast paced nature of our business growth. So Beijing 1421 Business Consulting has become 1421 Consulting Group. Together with the slogan, “Identifying opportunities and navigating your way through China”, it represents what we grown to become over the past three years. The combination shows what we can do to improve chances of success in the Chinese market for western SME’s. Fitting to this new image, we grasped the opportunity to improve our total communication.

Over the past month we worked tirelessly on creating a new brand image, whilst still retaining our roots. Our most notable changes are our new website, brochures, business cards, banners and a whole host of other marketing materials. This big project has been realized by hardworking members of our IT department and our marketing team. However there is one man solely responsible for the amazing creative translation of our desires; Daniel Carney.
