In the year our company celebrates existing 5 years, we received notice that 1421 was one of three nominees of the Dragons Business Award. Other nominees were China Inroads and International Performing Arts. Michael Pronk was honoured to receive the Dragons Business Award 2016 on behalf of our company!
The award ceremony was held at the Dutch National Institute for the Tropics (KIT), a beautiful location in Amsterdam. The event commenced with a ceremonial dragon dance for the Chinese New Year celebrations. After the impressive dragon dance and the award ceremony, the event attendees received a tour through the impressive building. After the tour, KIT China expert Dr. Wendong Deng gave a highly informative presentation about Chinese leadership. Finally the evening ended with a complementary dinner. All in all a well organised and rewarding day!
